The talented Rylee Ann Marshall has been perfecting her craft in the Los Angeles area for several years now. In addition to starring in a variety of short films, she has co-starred on the ABC series “Grown-ish”, and is regular cast member on the indy series “The Grow”.
Rachel is an actress known for her many horror films including The Brink, Lizard Boy, 8213 Gacy House, Giantess Attack and many more. She loves doing genre films and dying in a wide variety of ways. She also produces and is looking to direct her first project in the very near future.
Penny DellaPelle works primarily in theatre, but has also appeared in films such as Lizard Boy and My Best Friend (2016). Penny has frequently performed at the San Luis Obispo Repertory Theatre since 2013, most recently appearing as Elizabeth Bennet in Pride and Prejudice and Sophie Scholl in The White Rose (staged reading).
Phineas is an actor who has appeared in many theater productions and a few short films, as well as being a freelance filmmaker and VFX artist. He spends all of his time consuming and producing entertainment with his wonderful brother/business partner Elliot.
Delaiah Hastie is an actress known for many short films including Guerilla, A Van, Summerland Moment, and more. She is similar to Connie in the way they both talk a lot and invite themselves to things. Remember, Now is The Time!
Riley is currently enrolled in Chapman University and Dodge College of Film’s BFA in Screen Acting program. He started acting when he was 5 and has enjoyed playing a wide variety of roles over the years. His most recent role was that of Miles in She Kills Monsters at Chapman.
Carly is delighted to be apart of Near Human! She is usually found on stage at San Luis Obispo Reparatory Theater. Her pervious SLO REP show credits include, Pirates of Penzance, The Importance of Being Earnest, Beau Jest, Peer Gynt, Mary Poppins Jr, Pride and Prejudice and Girls Like That. She plans to attend American Academy of Dramatic Arts (AADA) in LA in the fall for acting.
This is Paul’s first episodic project. In addition to producing commercial content for Picture Stable LLC, his directorial experience includes forays into low budget filmmaking such as the campy sci-fi horror title “Lizard Boy” in 2010, and the family film “My Best Friend” (Lionsgate 2016) both of which were successfully distributed internationally. He is excited by the opportunity to explore the social and scientific questions at the heart of this series.
Having worked as a DP and camera operator on films, commercials and television shows for over 20 years . With cinematographer credits on four feature films including “Edgar Allen Poe’s the Lighthouse Keeper” “My Best Friend” and “Primitive”, and accolades including Crimson Screen Festival award for best cinematography. Adonis brings his professional eye to this documentary style sci-fi series.
